When we was looking for Realtors who can help us show homes in North Austin, we asked our friends for some recommendations. All of them gave us only one name - Dorie Dillard. They highly recommended her. But when we met Dorie for our 1st showing, she spoke very little. So we were surprised why so many of our friends recommended her. From 2nd showing onwards Dorie was on a blaze! Not only she showed us the homes that we loved but gave all the information we were looking for in a very organized fashion. It is them we realized that she was observing us very keenly what we liked and what we didn't during our 1st showing and hence spoke so little then. We found our perfect home in Canyon Creek with Dorie's help. 5 years later we again hired Dorie to help us sell our house. And again she has done a fantastic job. If there is ever a realtor that walks on water, it is Dorie Dillard. Dorie has sold two homes in Austin for me over the past three years. She captured a price nearly $100k above our asking price on our single family residence in 2021. Dorie prepared the marketing materials and talked up her network so well that it sold at an open house the first day on the market! We followed her guidelines to stage the house and it made big difference.
The second property, a condo in NW Austin, was a huge challenge. Not because of anything Dorie, I, the buyer or buyer’s realtor did, or how it looked. In fact, I had it staged by a professional Dorie recommended, and it got rave reviews! Unfortunately, our condo Association got caught up in the current insurance climate relating to condominiums, and it took an extended time to meet the stricter insurance requirements lenders now require. Additionally, the buyer’s initial lender was uncooperative. Dorie did a masterful job working with the buyer’s realtor to keep them engaged even though we missed four closing dates! Dorie truly worked a miracle!
So if you want a realtor who is smart, strategic, personable, dependable, honest and a winner, you might want to give her a try!

We moved away from Austin so we asked Dorie to help us sell our house in July 2018. we chose her because of her extensive experience in our neighborhood. Dorie was prompt in responses and provided valuable suggestions on marketing the house. since we were away, Dorie had to work with our local contractor on getting the house ready for showing. and since it was already July we would need to get it ready before the Summer ended. our three way commutation was timely and clear. Dorie and the contractor got the house mostly ready in a couple of weeks after the tenant moved out. A buyer found us quickly and offered full price. Dorie followed the deadlines in the selling process closely and provided help along the way till we got incoming wire from the title company. She didn't pressure us to do anything we didn't want to do. overall the selling process has been smooth and quick. I would recommend her service to anybody who needs it.
