What a fantastic evening at the Jingle Bell Fun Run and 4th Annual Canyon Creek Elementary PTA Holiday Fair! From the crisp, festive weather and jingle bells echoing through the neighborhood to the twinkling campus lights and a heartwarming holiday performance by the Canyon Creek Singing Stars—I’m officially in the holiday spirit!

The event’s success was thanks to an incredible team of core volunteers who worked tirelessly from start to finish. Their dedication was matched by countless parent volunteers, the Westwood Sundancers, the Westwood Art Club, and other service-minded students who jumped in wherever needed—true community spirit in action!

A special shoutout to Handel’s Ice Cream for going all out and helping make the evening even sweeter. With 30 booth vendors showcasing handmade crafts, baked goods, and unique creations, there was something for everyone. I enjoyed shopping local and couldn’t resist picking up brownies and cinnamon rolls!

The evening’s highlight was the Singing Stars’ unforgettable performance, wrapping up the event on a high note. I’ve never seen so many cars or such a lively crowd at this event before. It was heartwarming to see alumni, neighbors, and friends coming together to support the school.

The outpouring of community spirit is one of the many reasons I love living and working in Canyon Creek. Thank you to the CCE PTA and everyone who contributed to making this magical night such a resounding success. See you next year—I wouldn’t miss it!!
