When I have people over for dinner I like to plan a menu that doesn’t entail me cooking while they are at my home! I want to enjoy my friends and family in the moment.
Last night I had some neighbors /friends over and since it was Memorial Weekend I decided to have Texas BBQ. I love a BBQ place that is close to me called, InterStellar BBQ. They are only open 11 – 4pm Wednesday – Sunday. If you want to order on-line you need order 72 hours in advance, that way you are assured to get what you want, otherwise they could run out. They have a special door to pick up, thank goodness, allowing you to avoid that long line!
They cook each day so it’s fresh and when it’s sold out they will close their restaurant early. There is always a line and some have been known to get there at 8:30 am, waiting for them to open at 11 am!
We enjoyed dinner and after eating we went out by the pool and their 6 year old swam waiting for my floating solar, colored balls to start glowing in the pool! Her dad made us Blue, Mango and Watermelon Margaritas that were so yummy!
