Google Fiber is coming to our section of Canyon Creek! They have been working their way through our community and use a technique called Micro Trenching, where they cut between the asphalt and the concrete curb to install the fiber line. Their expansion includes many new addresses and you can check your address for availability on their site.

We just had new asphalt laid in our section of the community and finished last week! It’s too bad Google Fiber hadn’t already expanded to our section but the City had the new asphalt scheduled.  

Many are wondering about all the markings we see on our streets. The markings are put there by other utilities in preparation for Google Fiber. Check out the color codes below indicating a different utility. It’s going to be a process and many will be watching with interest.
