The focus is on enhancing swimming abilities, building endurance, and instilling water safety practices, all while ensuring a fun-filled experience for everyone involved. And the best part? It will be at the community pool conveniently located right here in Canyon Creek!

Here are some key details to keep in mind:

Team Practices:

The Cyclone Swim Team practices will take place weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from May 21st to July 13th, 2024. Please note that there will be no practice on Thursday, May 23rd, due to the End of School Pool Party.

IMPORTANT 2024 DATES TO REMEMBER

Meet the Coach & Try-outs

u Thursday, May 16th, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

u Saturday, May 18th, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am

During try-outs, swimmers must demonstrate their ability to swim 25 meters across the CCC Pool unassisted in order to join the team. Coach Don will assess each swimmer’s performance and assign practice times based on age and skill level. Remember, a 25M choice swim is required (equivalent to one length of the CCC Pool).

Swim Meets

u Saturday, June 22nd, 2024, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am (swimmers arrive at 7:15 am)

u Saturday, July 13th, 2024, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am (swimmers arrive at 7:15 am), followed by the Award Ceremony
