Over the years Spring has shown us to be typically the most popular time to buy a home. We usually see February as the month activity begins. This year Austin experienced an ice storm that rendered us immobile and took weeks of clean-up before normalcy became restored in March.
We have 6 active listings in Canyon Creek and I’ll be adding another one to the list at the end of the week (and another in a few weeks). Still low inventory for a community that has 1,380+ homes but certainly better than only one or two listings like the past 2 previous years.

Looking at the average sold price compared to last year we are only down 2% so prices are stabilizing as our spring market unfolds. We are seeing momentum in buyer showings and offers.
