The Ao5 Art Gallery in the Arboretum in Austin recently held an early evening open house. It was so enlightening to slowly stroll through the gallery while waiting to see the unveiling of the The Secret Art of Dr. Seuss’s rendering. We were not allowed to photograph the piece and after the unveiling it was covered again. There were many collectors there that have many pieces of the Dr. Seuss Art.

An original piece by Erievon Seibert caught my eye! It’s called the Red Hibiscus. I loved the spontaneous and vibrant colors of his medium that resulted in such rich energy. From every angle I viewed this dramatic piece, it appeared a shimmery, three dimensional, piece playing with my mind! It’s a mixed media, transparent dye with a specialist film on Aluminum panel with resin. What a celebration of sensual assimilation of sight and mental perception! It’s a 48″ X 48″ statement piece sure to be noticed.
Be sure and check out the next open house event on March 24th from 6 – 8 pm
