The 3M Half Marathon welcomes new runners and challenges old pros this Sunday, January 22, 2023. The downhill to downtown course is a fast and fun race fueled by live music and cheering fans along the 13.1 mile course in the heart of Texas. Avid runners PR and newcomers finish with style as they pass the finish line and are greeted with a lively downtown festival.

This will be the 27th year for the 3M Marathon (we had to take a 2 year hiatus for COVID). In 2020 there were over 7,000 runners!

In the past the 3M Marathon donated generously to many different charities, including Central Texas Food Bank, Austin Youth River watch, and the Girl Start. This year Finding Home ATX has been made the 2023 beneficiary.

The goal for Finding  Home ATX is to achieve functional zero in unsheltered homelessness. This is how they expect to make it happen:

u Add 1,300 new units of affordable housing for the unhoused population

u House 3,000 individuals and support and stabilize an additional 2,300 house holds

u Enhance economic opportunity and community appeal

u Improve equitable access and outcomes for the unhoused

u Scale provider capacity

u Improve impact through a tightly-coordinated, data-driven Homelessness OS

u Improve coordination of care and unhoused neighbor experiences
