When I saw that it was National Take Down the Christmas Tree Day I had no idea there was such a thing! I just thought it meant it was time to end the holiday season and get the house back in order for normal living again. Little did I know there was more to it!
I’ve always heard of the 12 days of Christmas but never new traditionally these are the 12 days of Christmas AFTER Christmas not before. Who knew?
My tree was taken down this past Wednesday and all the decorations reluctantly put away. I always hate to put it all away, I admit I get nostalgic. Maybe next year I will follow the 12 days after Christmas Tradition….it’s a thought!
