Today was Austin’s Susan G. Koman’s “More Than Pink Walk.” It was a perfect day, cool, sunny and the courses were well marked. You could take the 3 mile course or a one mile. We took the 3 mile course!
This year we had a change in venue and it was harder to start off with your team because they had a tighter start and track. We got separated from our Queen B team but made it through. The sponsors may want to rethink how they start us off next year.

We came in fourth in our fund raising, but were happy with our efforts. When the totals come out I’m hoping the overall Austin event surpasses last year. We’ll be back next year…..it’s a good cause and we need to stay diligent in raising money to beat this horrific disease!
Queen B’ s was organized for Bianca Vanderberg, who is still battling stage 4, breast cancer with courage, dignity, spirit and resolve to beat this cancer out of her system. She is a young wife, mother to 2 adorable boys, sister, and a friend to an army of friends, family and acquaintances who are her prayer warriors and supporters!

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
2 Corinthians 12:9
