Happy Birthday Dad! Today is your birthday and sometimes the day got lost in the midst of the holiday season. Mom always baked your favorite chocolate cake with a special marshmallow frosting with chocolate swirls!
Robert Edmund Cleary was born on 12/20/1918 in Claremont NH to Tamzon Meecham and Vincent Edmund Cleary. He married Doris Eleanor Miller (my mom) on December 28, 1940. Three children: my older sister Susan, myself and younger brother John were born in Schenectady NY and grew up in the same house on 2 acres in the town of Glenville. Unfortunately he left us too early on 10/19/1978 due to complications with Lupus.
Dad, you taught us a work ethic by example and why serving others is so important. I still miss your voice (your eastern accent), pranks, wit, guidance and smile. I love and miss you dad. ♥♥
