Just like the majority of Austin, CANYON CREEK’S incline in home price is not as steep as in the spring, but inventory is low and homes are selling! There are only 3 Active listings on the market in Canyon Creek at this time (all three over priced homes have been on the market an average of 69 days and have making price adjustments)! The future looks bright in 2022 Austin Real Estate, especially with the announcement Tesla is making Austin its headquarters.

November Home Sales are down 60% over 2020 November Sales. We are still undergoing low inventory (slightly more than spring) and plenty of buyer demand even with the holidays upon us.
Buyers have more options in certain communities, and the market feels fluid with buyers having more time to decide to make an offer rather than in hours like last spring. However, if you’re on the fence about making a purchase, my advice is to move forward and secure a home because all signs point to another fast, paced selling market in the spring of 2022.
The average sold price in Canyon Creek is up 28% compared with last November and days on market is up 25%. The sold price per square foot is up 37%. There are plenty of comparable sold properties to support the values of new listings. Sellers pricing according to market price are finding their homes under contract with one or more offers (depending on the community) and taking a week or so to go under contract (nothing wrong with that!).

Austin and Canyon Creek real estate has been undervalued for years. Real Estate Sales came out of COVID stronger than expected with a market pressed for inventory. It will take several years to catch up.
