I was proud to be a member of the amazing “Queen B’s” team for the Susan G. Komen “MORE THAN PINK WALK” held Sunday October 24th, 2021 at the Long Center in Austin Texas. Participating to raise money and show my support for the millions of women, who have been impacted by breast cancer and a special friend Bianca Vanderberg, was one of the most rewarding and heartwarming events I’ve shared. Our beehive was amazing!
I’m proud to say the Queen B’s took first place in raising the most funds with over $17,000! Bianca was asked to share the stage at the opening ceremony and we were all so proud of her. She was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer the end of May and what an inspiration she is to all of us. She is a young wife, mother to 2 adorable boys, sister and a friend to an army of friends, family and acquaintances who are her prayer warriors and supporters!
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

I was so proud to walk alongside these men and women in support of the Komen Foundation’s mission. We must continue to raise awareness of this disease and hopefully one day soon a cure will be found.
