I hate to see my sellers relocate from this lovely, sprawling 2 story custom designed, white stone home with 3 car garage. I know the neighbors are going to hate to see them go and will miss their giving, fun and nurturing hearts! I only wish I had known them before they called me to list their home as I know we would have been good friends.
My sellers met with their buyers last week, who are a lovely young couple with a darling 5 year old who is attending Canyon Creek Elementary. It was their wish to show them all the nuances of the home and make sure they are comfortable with all the remotes and mechanical equipment in the house. They also went over the operation of the pool and how the Kohler 20KW generator works.
As they told me “the neighborly thing to do” is to pay for a month of lawn and pool care from their trusted vendors they relied on over the years for their buyers. They also left a list of all their vendors used throughout the years, Plumbers, HVAC, carpet cleaning, window washing etc.
Real estate is a relationship business. It’s wonderful to be part of a transaction than not only goes smoothly but you witness clients taking pride in homeownership and handing over one of their biggest investments in such a loving way.
