2021 Austin Real Estate took off with unseasonable buyer frenzy as each new listing became available. On common theme in Austin is lack of inventory. Many factors are contributing to low inventory levels:
Sellers desire more of the population to be vaccinated
Sellers are locked into super low interest rates
Many are fearful of finding their next home if not relocating
Many have invested back into their home
All indicators point to the strongest seller’s market in Austin’s history! Home prices are increasing at record jumps.
