Have you heard the news? Oracle is coming to town!
Oracle confirmed they are moving their Head Quarters from Redwood City CA to Austin. Another win for Central Texas in the surging technology sector. Thanks to the friendly business climate, low taxes and ample workforce, Austin attracted another major company.
Currently Oracle has a workforce of about 2,500 people in Austin and when and how many people are moving will be soon addressed.
Wedbush Securities analyst Daniel Ives says ” Austin’s really become the Goldilocks location for companies moving out of the valley.”
Co-founder Larry Ellison won’t be moving to Austin he moved to Hawaii on the island of Lanai he purchased in 2012 two years before he stepped down as Oracle’s CEO.
Real estate is tight and just got tighter with our razor thin inventory and so many wanting to find homes.
