Recently a friend who traveled sometimes with Geno and I sent me a link to an article about traveling in Conde-Nast-Traveler. They had so much fun with us as Geno shared his secret of traveling with them. It was always about assimilating and immersing ourselves in the culture of the country, interacting with the people and trying their amazing food!
Everywhere we went people were attracted to Geno due to has affable personality and inquiring mind. They always went out of their way to create an “experience” for our visit as he did for them by being himself.
Gene discovered the secret of traveling a long time ago….keep searching for something wonderful and believe each new adventure is just waiting around the corner. He loved the thrill of the discovery and constantly searched for the unexpected and always believed he’d find it and always did.
