It’s hard to believe Thursday, August 15th our kiddos at Canyon Creek Elementary will be back in school! Canyon Creek Elementary is in the Round Rock Independent School District and located at 10210 Ember Glen Drive, Austin, TX 78726.
There are a few things happening this week to mark the opening of school:
Tuesday morning August 13th there will be a welcome walk starting at 8 am at the school.
This is an annual event which is loved by all and gets the excitement mounting for the first day of school. Helps our students engage in that familiar school routine of getting to bed earlier for a good nights sleep and waking earlier to be ready to give it their all!
Next up is the PTA “Back to School Fling” held Wednesday August 14th at Canyon Creek Elementary from 7:30am – 10:00 am. Perfect timing in order to join the PTA, make donations, purchase t-shirts, order yearbooks, learn about all the PTA supported programs and sign up to volunteer!If your new to the community its a great way to connect with other families and learn how much fun being a part of your students school environment can be!

Canyon Creek Elementary will be opening its doors to students for the 2019-2020 school year on Thursday August 15th. School starts at 7:45-8:45 for Coffee and Kleenex. Teachers are ready and anxious to greet their students!
Canyon Creek Elementary is located in the heart of the NW Austin master planned community of Canyon Creek and a focal point of many activities.
You can access Canyon Creek off Hwy 620 between Anderson Mill Rd and Hwy 2222 on Boulder Ln (which is a loop accessing Hwy 620 at each end). Boulder winds its way through the picturesque, rolling terrain of this upper middle class neighborhood of single family residences and includes two gated sections offering detached garden/condo home living options. Many residents have lived here for years and moved within the community when smart sizing. They simply love living in Canyon Creek.
Canyon Creek features 2 parks: Trail Head and Canyon Creek Park, a junior Olympic pool, activity center, tennis courts and natural trails. A good deal of the community is surrounded by Balconies Canyon-land Preserve. The close proximity to Lake Travis and Lake Austin is a plus as well as being close to entertainment, dining and employment options.
