JULY 2019 HOME SALES in CANYON CREEK

Home sales for Canyon Creek are in for July 2019. There are only three homes on the market in Canyon Creek (FYI: I do have one coming on the market in the next few weeks). The real estate summer market continues strong after a hot, hot spring market! Many buyers purchased homes and are trying to close but there are still those waiting for new listings. Homes hitting the market priced and staged right are receiving offers. School starts in a week, kids are getting ready for college and many are taking a last minute vacation so traffic is not what it was but will pick up after Labor Day.

Fall can be an interesting time in our local real estate market. 2019 has been another reord year for home values, and we expect to remain active throughout the football season. Sellers you have time to be ready to hit the market.

As of July 31, 2019 there are only 3 Active resale homes in Canyon Creek! You heard me right…. There are 1,330+ homes in the community so inventory is almost non-existent!

As of July 31, 2019 there are 5 Contract Pending homes. With 3 Active and 5 Contract Pending homes now is the time to list your home! Inventory is needed to meet the buyers demand….sellers are you listening?

Homes Sales in July 2019

As of July 31, 2019, 9 homes closed, down 36% from July 2018. The 9 sold properties were up 3% in square footage. Buyers were attracted to well-appointed homes with quality upgrades and weren’t afraid to fight for them. The days on market in July were down 87% and home prices were up 14%! Buyers….if you snooze you’ll lose in this market!
