We finally enjoyed a sunny day in Austin and many volunteers showed up at the Canyon Creek Park to help put in their sweat, time and hard work to clean the tennis courts and tie the wind screens together!
It’s amazing what can be accomplished when families in the Canyon Creek community come together. While giving their time and energy to the project they discovered some erosion problems and discussed future group efforts to improve the courts.

There were 4 teens from Grisham Middle school who helped also: Brendan, Kevin, Isaiah, Kelvin.
These neighbors are inspiring! They showed what results can be achieved by working side by side to improve and maintain our neighborhood amenities. I’ve lived in Canyon Creek for 25 years and am constantly astonished at our community residents and the time and effort they are willing to share to make a difference.
