Tammy Lankford, is hosting an August Challenge to get some new reviews! This is just the kick in the pants I needed to ramp up my Yelp page with reviews. I went to town and added photos and re-wrote my write up. Then I made a list of sellers and buyers I’ve worked with this year and emailed them telling them I was working hard on my Yelp image and would they help me out by writing a review.
I was astounded by the immediate response and now I have 4 new reviews that posted with 5 stars and another 2 new 5 star reviews that didn’t make the algorithm cut landing below with another old review that didn’t make the light of day!
Alan May is the one that made me direct my attention to my Yelp account. I’ve not made it a priority and after looking at Alan’s Yelp and saw 15 reviews I knew I had to step up my game. Alan’s site is very impressive and he isn’t paying Yelp. I agree the more reviews I can garner the higher up on their list I can raise.
Now a challenge to Alan May (within this challenge)..I added photos and don’t see any on your site and I know you must have some great ones! I also don’t see a bio of you..am I missing it under Business and History? I’m new to this so I might not be looking in the right place.
Tammy thank you for the contest it’s a personal challenge for all of us and I’m so glad I made time to make contact with my clients (just another touch) and request their help. I’m going to continue building my Yelp..the more reviews the better!
