It’s been a scorching week-end with the heat and broke a record Saturday of 104 degrees. At least not as bad as Dallas at 114! My open house was not well attended with the heat but looks like one couple very interested. I wrote an offer for my buyer on a wonderful home along with 7 others. It was clean with NO contingencies and I advised him to offer a top price he could live with and anything over he’d say uncle (he really wants this house). We found out late last night he won it! Have you heard the Frisco Shop Restaurant is closing after 65 years in business. It’s one of Austin’s Iconic spots that will be sorely missed. It’s the last remaining location of Austin’s Nighthawk Diner chain known for its comfort food so many enjoyed. Due to changing demographics, increased competition and a tight labor market they can no longer afford to do business. Cheers to you Frisco for serving Austinites for such a great run….you’ll be remembered fondly!
