Home sales for Canyon Creek are in for April 2018! If you’re wondering if it is the right time to sell or buy a home…The answer is definitely yes! According to one of my favorite economists, Mark Sprague, he revised his 2018 forecast of Austin’s real estate market. He originally predicted 2018 to be essentially the same as in 2017. However, based on the increase in number of contracts they are seeing he feels Austin’s biggest hurdle will be the need for inventory, particularly at the entry level (the strongest market in Austin). Mark feels sales in all price points are performing stronger than anticipated and properly priced homes are selling with multiple offers and overpriced properties continue to be challenged.

I’m seeing in Canyon Creek smaller square footage homes and prices under $500,000 selling faster than larger homes priced in the $500,000- 600,000 range.
