I’ve got just the lucky place to go on this Friday the 13th! If you’re looking to experience some of the finest food in NW Austin and love going to the Domain then I have a wonderful spot especially for you to dine out this evening! Located in the Westin Hotel at The Domain in NW Austin this is an Austin favorite place to eat. At Urban, they put an exciting spin on traditional favorites. Their culinary team wants to satisfy your taste buds no matter the time of day. You can start your mornings off with a fantastic breakfast or wine down a busy day at their happy hour followed by a delicious meal.
To start your day, try the Smoked Salmon Benedict with poached organic eggs, wilted spinach on an English muffin with olive oil citrus hollandaise sauce. There’s also Grilled Ham & Eggs made with organic eggs, crispy hash browns, your choice of grilled ham, bacon or sausage with a side of toast or english muffin. For dinner, you could start out with a small plate of Nashville Chicken – crispy boneless chicken thigh, urban hot sauce and buttermilk blue cheese or try the Italian Sausage Meatballs with arrabbiata, mozzarella served with grilled bread.
On the large plate menu there’s Seared Scallops with superfood greens, pickled canteloupe, tomato, avocado, almonds and ginger ponzu…or try the Broken Arrow Venison & Boar Meatloaf with whipped potatoes, bbq demi, green beans and mushrooms…or maybe the 14 oz. New York Strip Steak with roasted mushrooms, wine butter, whipped potatoes and fried onions.
Finish off your meal with a delicious dessert like the Cappucino Pot De Crème with foamed milk and chocolate covered espresso bean or the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding with rum caramel, caramelized banana and topped with an Austin favorite – Amy’s Mexican Vanilla ice cream (the perfect topper to ANY dessert!).
