It’s Christmas Eve 2017 and we have been to candlelight service at church with son and family (Handsome Hudson and Beautiful Beckett) and back to their house for a light dinner of seafood gumbo.
It’s been a good day, full of promise for tomorrow. I have tables set, apple pie and oatmeal raisin cookies baked, glasses ready for mimosas and horseradish cream sauce prepared for the standing rib roast. Tomorrow we will make sure the meat is cooked to perfection and potatoes whipped …everyone is bringing the rest. It will be a full house with 16!
