I’ll bet there are plenty of you who aren’t done Christmas shopping or you love the tradition of shopping the few days before Christmas to enjoy the frenzy shoppers! Either way I’ve found a great spot to stop and get “fueled” for the last minute hustle and bustle this week-end! You’ll love the low key atmosphere and “experience” of this gastropub! Enjoy!!!

This charming, upscale and casual gastropub is located in neighboring city of Round Rock. Owners, Blake and Allison Notgrass, are natives of Round Rock having grown up there. They’ve seen a lot of changes in the city and watched it grow into the thriving city it is today. They decided they wanted to create a concept that combined the small town feel with the excitement of an urban city. A place where people could celebrate special moments in their lives, or just walk in and probably meet someone they knew. They are open for brunch on the weekends from 9a-3p with a bloody mary bar and mimosas available (the ‘fuel’ for shopping!).
Here’s a sampling of their menu…On the Brunch menu there’s everything from Chicken & Waffles – a southern favorite with a golden waffle topped with hand battered fried chicken, maple syrup and a side of fruit to the Cattle Drive – hand formed beef with melted blue cheese, buffalo-ranch sauce, red onion and lettuce served with seasoned fries. The Lunch menu has a Rosemary Chicken Salad served with lettuce and tomato on multi-grain bread and served with house made potato chips…also on the menu is the Turkey Club – turkey breast with crispy bacon, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado and smoked aioli on sourdough bread served with chips.
From the entrees on the Dinner Menu there’s Ruby Trout grilled on a flame broiler and drizzled with roasted red pepper coulis sauce served with cilantro rice and seasonal vegetables and the Ribeye – a 10oz. USDA prime ribeye served with a loaded baked potato and sautéed asparagus.
