Serendipity Sunday ~ #4 Razzal Dazzles them!

Our granddaughter, Maggie Stout, is a junior at Westwood High School in NW Austin and was just named Athlete of the Month and is featured in Balcones living magazine this month. Maggie is #4 and stepped into a starting position on the Lady Warrior Volleyball Team this season. Maggie is a six-rotation, outside hitter who shines amazingly both offensively and defensively on the court. With her winning smile and enthusiasm on the court her team mates can’t help but pick up on her positive energy which propels them to finishing strong in their games.

Since 4th grade Maggie has been playing volleyball and in middle school she began playing club ball for Austin Junior Volleyball. AJV was a definite game changer in increasing her performance, honing her skills and competing at a national level. She is a team player and believes “Team Chemistry” is the key to success.

Interesting she feels “Team chemistry comes from investing in and developing solid relationships with her teammates, trusting and respecting each other on and off the court, and playing for the benefit of the team.”

Her words sounds like how I feel about working in my Coldwell Banker Office. She is right “a team (or in my case an office) can have a full squad of superstars on the roster and not be successful because they lack the relationship part.” What a wise lesson to learn as a 16 years old. We are so proud of you “Maggie Grace” (the name her Paw Paw fondly calls her).

Reminds me of a special quote from Zig Ziglar:

Life is an echo.

What you send out, comes back.

What you sow,

You reap.

What you give, you get.

What you see in others,

exists in you.
