Hard to beleive Christmas will be in 1 week! My Christmas shopping is done and I’m enjoying the holidays! We watched Hudson and Beckett preform at their Holiday Show with the whole family with dinner after at the Domain, Saturday was busy showing property, attending a clients new home celebration, dinner out and Sunday decorating Christmas cookies with Hudson and Beckett plus decorating some trees outside along the road (we do that here) with dinner of Paw Paw’s home made marina (the kids favorites). Somehow it got to be Monday morning. Grab a cup of your favorite morning brew and join me for some tech support humor to start your week.
(An agent is doing Internet tech support over the phone.)
Tech Support: “I’d like you to check if you can see your WiFi name now, please.”
Customer: *too fast to have re-checked the list* “It’s still not there.”
Tech Support: “Okay, can I have you just refresh the list, please?”
Customer: *angrily* “I don’t know how to do that! I’m forty! I don’t know anything about all this technology stuff!”
(The agent managed to refrain from telling him that he is forty-three, and not only is he not the oldest in the call centre, one of his coworkers left retirement to come and work with them! There are many excuses for being ignorant about technology, but being middle-aged isn’t one of them.)
