In the end of September I flew out with my daughter to visit my grand-daughter (my daughter’s daughter) Hailey and watch her play volleyball at Bucknell University. This is her senior year and we loved spending some extra time when she was off the court. She took us to Ard’s Farm Market and it was so much fun!
Ard’s Farm Market is a combination: corn maze, pumpkin patch, candy, fresh vegetables, a few farm animals and a restaurant! Groups from Bucknell come out and eat family style, find some fresh fruits and vegetables while having a good time, a short jaunt from campus!
We loved seeing the harvest of pumpkins, gourds, fall flowers and found the staff to be super friendly. The property is clean and there is plenty of parking (now that’s a novelty). The drive was a short drive from campus and the fall colors were barely starting to show. The unusual warm temperatures put off the fall splendor of colors but I enjoyed the sights and sounds they were able to showcase regardless.
This is my #9 entry into the Debbie Reynolds 12 days of Thanksgiving challenge!
