Thank you, Jim Cheney for hosting the Thankfulness challenge, for November in Active Rain. It’s the time of year I want to reinforce to my clients and sphere I remember them and am grateful for their support and business.
My “purpose” in my real estate business is to make a difference in the home selling and buying process and bring value to my clients and the community I serve.
During the summer is when I make sure to select the right recipe calendar and place my order so time can be allocated for them to be stuffed into envelopes, labeled and boxed for my boy scout to deliver them starting November 1! There are 1275 recipe calendars to be delivered to the Canyon Creek community. I mail 95 additional calendars to the 2 gated sections in the community and 78 more to my sphere outside of my community.
I always confirm with the Canyon Creek HOA on the date of our Winter Festival so labels can be printed for the back of the envelopes announcing when its scheduled and what time…..the extra publicity never hurts the event.
For 20 years the calendars have been delivered and it’s amazing how many end up on refrigerators of residents in Canyon Creek and my sphere. Often when I’m called to list their homes they say “see I’ve been looking at you for 365 days” in my home and I see your signs everywhere!
Many look forward to the larger calendars I send out..they are big enough to write on and I have to admit I have one by my desk at home!
The core of my business is providing value which I demonstrate throughout the year. From serving on the CC Elementary Site Based Committee to being available to sponsor school and community events is my way of making a difference in our community. The more time we can spend together enjoying the abundance in our community the more we appreciate what is important in our lives.
