One of the things I love most about living and working in the Canyon Creek Subdivision is the spirit of our community! Memorial Day many families met at the Canyon Creek Park for a patriotic observance to salute the American Flag, listen to “taps” and honor our military who died defending our freedom and democracy.
Charlotte McWilliams, a resident in our community, reached out to the HOA asking if it would be okay to spontaneously announce anyone wanting to participate to meet at the Canyon Creek Park at 9 am. After the ceremony kids, parents, pets..all ran in laps around the community..anyone was welcome to join in! What a wonderful sight to behold on Memorial Day..families meeting and celebrating the true meaning of Memorial Day…. Home of the free because of the Brave!
