Canyon Creek is one of the most desired neighborhoods in NW Austin. It’s a prestigious master planned community that boasts several parks, a Junior Olympic pool, tennis courts, nature trails, top notch public schools, close proximity to our lakes, extensive entertainment and dining options. Canyon Creek offers homes from the mid $300,000’s to the high $600,000’s and includes 2 gated sections offering detached garden/condo home living options. Bottom line: April 2017 home sales in Canyon Creek were down 33% while the average sold price increased 11% due to an increase in the square foot size of homes sold. The price/SF was only down 1%, usually larger homes means lower price/square foot. The inventory available in April came on staged and priced well and moved under contract with an average of 10 days.
The 12 homes currently under contract are slightly larger in square footage than April sales but are the same in price/square foot. May well be an excellent closing month for homes in Canyon Creek!
