An Amazing turnout for the 2017 Annual Canyon Creek Easter Egg Hunt!
Parents and Grandparents in tow with children of all ages, walked, biked and drove to the Canyon Creek Park on the grassy knoll in front of the Canyon Creek Pool! There were three age groups participating in areas marked by Yellow, Blue and Purple outlined areas. I love our Canyon Creek community! For 2 weeks I received plastic filled eggs (a dozen per child participating) delivered to my house to my Easter Egg Hunt Drop off Box! My dining room was overflowing with unusual shapes, sizes, glittering and sizzling eggs!
There was a Photo Op with the Easter Bunny (thank you Ju Ruiz) and this year we held a fun “Guess the number of Jelly Beans in the Jar” contest! Thank you Melissa Stout , my daughter for helping everyone sign up and mark their guess! The winner of the fun filled Easter Basket was Chris Jackson! He guessed 333 and there were 334 jelly beans!
Our Easter Egg Hunt would not be complete without John Parker from the Austin Baptist church! His messages, music and alerting age groups to begin at their respective times are most appreciated! With so many children participating, a booming voice of reason is needed!
