Interested in conserving water and helping the environment? Canyon Creek residents can take part in helping the environment in our own neighborhood on Saturday, April 22nd, Earth Day! We need your help participating in our first ever Mulch-A-Thon by donating 1 or 2 bags of Native Hardwood Brown Mulch! For a small investment per household we can have a major impact on our water usage in our neighborhood.
From 7 -1pm on Saturday April 22nd there will be 2 Mulch Collection Centers set up Trailhead Park and Canyon Creek Park.
Gather a group of teen friends or adults and bring a labeled rake or hoe and join us at Trailhead Park! Wear neon or brightly colored shirts in Celebration of Earth Day and for safety! Remember Canyon Creek Garage sale will be taking place so there will be extra activity and traffic in the community.
Please note no children and pets will be allowed for safety reasons.
The goal will be to finish early, receive 1 bag of much from every household and have fun beautifying our neighborhood!
Team leaders are needed to coordinate teams and signup sheets. So far we have 2 sponsors: Class Act Renovation Incorporated and Dorie Dillard with Coldwell Banker United Realtors. Elizabeth Wolf and her son Max have come up with this great idea so let’s all support this event to help make this Earth Day a raging success for Canyon Creek!!
