Come experience Austin and join 18,000+ participants from the world over exploring Austin’s familiar landmarks, unique neighborhoods and our signature culture this Sunday morning, February 19th! There is something for everyone….you can run, walk or jog. The fun begins at 6:55am wheel chair entrants begin and 7 am Marathon and Half Marathon take off.
Since 1992 NXP has sponsored The Austin Marathon to ensure “Austin Gives Miles” and perpetuates our “Keep Austin Weird” slogan. Whether you’re participating in the event or cheering others on, this is an annual event Austinites look forward to!
There will be live music on the course and at cheer stations. Aid stations are stocked with Nuun Hydration and Clif Shot Zones.
The Austin Marathon has been voted time and again one of 15 Bucket List Marathons in the US and the Half Marathon Best 10 races in the world. The Austin Marathon takes guts, courage, tenacity and most of all determination!!
I’ll be cheering from our favorite corner in Crestview! Make signs..cheer loudly, make noise and enjoy another annual event that makes Austin our favorite place to live!!
