1. Gordough’s – Donuts, donuts, both savory and sweet! 4 locations locally 2, brick and mortar and 2 food trailers conveniently located and gaining popularity amongst locals and visitors alike. Big Fat donuts!
2. Voodoo Doughnuts– If you love donuts and “keeping it Weird”, this is the place for you. With interesting toppings, flavors and vegan selections, there is a little sweet something for everyone here.
3. Amy’s Ice Creams– An Austin original, established in 1984, Amy’s offers over 350 handcrafted artesian ice cream options. The staff does their best to add a little flare to the way you are served, from flipping scoops into the air to whistling and singing while they work, which makes for a fun ice cream experience.
4. Le Café Crepe of Austin – The French owners have created a menu of traditional savory and sweet crepes, for a little taste of France. They even added ice cream, coffee, beer and wine to the mix in their cozy Parisian style café. Bon appétit, y’all!
5. Lick Honest Ice Creams – a small locally owned shop that makes seasonal, sustainable artesian ice creams from the freshest local ingredients, using naturally grown and certified organic ingredients whenever possible. If it grows in Texas, there’s a good chance it will end up in their ice creams!
6. Hey Cupcake – One of the originals in the Austin food trailer trend, vending 10 flavors of delicious cupcakes, which can be cream-filled, from Airstream trailers in three locations in town. There are even Gluten free options offered.
