The menu at Cherrywood is varied with salads, sandwiches, burgers, tacos, pastries and smoothies along with beer and wine – something for everyone! If you want to stop in for brunch (Saturdays and Sundays 10-3), you can start your day with a breakfast taco (an Austin favorite) as well as choose from a selection of egg dishes like the Crawfish and Eggs Benedict, scones, muffins and pastries.
The lunch and dinner menu is delicious and will keep you coming back for more. Their burgers are award winning (the Critics Pick for the “Best of Austin” in 2010), sandwiches are delicious served on French demi-baguettes like the Italian Sausage Sandwich with Italian sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms and provolone cheese. Or, you might like to try the Bánh Mi served on a toasted baguette with confit pork, cucumber, jalapeno shredded carrots and daikon radish, thousand island dressing and a drizzle of garlic ginger dressing. If you’re in the mood for seafood, try a shrimp po’boy with hand-cut fries; or one of their seafood platters of fried or grilled catfish or shrimp served with those hand-cut fries. Something a little lighter might be the Thai Salad Wrap with grilled chicken or fried tofu, cucumbers, red onions, carrots, daikon radish, shredded cabbage, cilantro and their Thai peanut dressing wrapped in a toasted flour tortilla. For a beverage choose a cup of delicious Fair Trade Ruta Maya coffee, a selection of smoothies or a glass of beer or wine.
