What a week-end! Came to terms on an offer on one of my listings, enjoyed a good open house with a possible offer coming in on the home this afternoon and lucked out the rain held off to early Sunday evening. Saturday was date night with my Geno and here it is Monday morning! Join me with a cup of your favorite morning brew and enjoy some tech support humor to start your week!
(An agent is working in a call center for tech support that handles area offices. A worker from a local office calls is upset because she can’t use her ‘new computer’.)
Tech support: “Can I get the name of the computer so I can check on it in our system?”
Customer: “[Computer].”
Tech support: “It looks like [Computer] is registered for [Other User] instead of your account—”
Customer: “Yes, it’s his computer, and it won’t take my password to use it.”
Tech support: “Are you using a password he gave you?”
Customer: “No, it’s my password, but it has his name here so it won’t work.”
Tech support: “So you are using your password with someone else’s username, on their computer, and you don’t know why it won’t work?”
(She hung up at this point, and hasn’t called back.)
