Happy Clients mean a Happy Life!

Paul Henderson inspires me each and every day in Active Rain with his wonderful inspirational posts. His photos always have a quote that fits perfectly (how do you do that every day?). His contest this month is a natural because he wants to know what inspires us. I’d say it’s our turn to get our creative juices flowing and show Paul we learned something from his daily posts.

There were several motivations for me making a decision to become a Realtor but the most important one was I found myself a single mom with 2 children and needed a job! I brainstormed and wrote down what interested me and what talents I could offer in the work place. I knew I didn’t want to go back to teaching as I needed a job with more flexible hours to assure my son could still swim competitively and train.

I felt I could make a difference as a Realtor helping others through the process of buying or selling their homes. It’s an emotional process and acting as a business manager managing the stress and bringing a smile to clients faces offers me a great deal of satisfaction.

Zig Ziglar and his quotes guide and inspire me on this journey we call life and have from the time I started teaching school. My favorite quote is “You will get all you want in life, if you help enough other people get what they want.” It applied to my students and it really applies to my buyer and seller clients. I love what I do because I want to make a difference. Happy clients mean a happy life!
