Why not make breakfast a treat out this week-end? I just saw this restaurant on my way to an event at the Kendra Scott jewelry store on North Lamar a few weeks ago. Everyone raved about this wonderful new eatery! They even have two locations in Austin -North and south Lamar.

Snooze was founded in Denver, Colorado by brothers Jon and Adam Schlegel, with the intention of having the morning dining experience turn into something much more. At Snooze, they believe that “life is for living and each person and each day is worth celebrating.” Their mantra is: it only takes a moment to make a difference.” Snooze believes we are all one big family, so one percent of sales goes back into the local community through the donation of in-kind goods and services. They love using pancakes to help people raise money and awareness for causes that are close to the heart of their community. And, of course, they believe in sustainability. They are working to help create a better world for future generations.
On the Flavors From The Hen menu, you’ll find The Snooze Classic: farm fresh cage free eggs cooked any style and your choice of ham, bacon, sausage, chorizo, pull pork, chicken sausage or soyrizo served with hash browns and a choice of toast. There’s also The Breakfast Pot Pie with their homemade rosemary sausage gravy smothering a flaky puff pastry topped with an egg your style complete with hash browns. From the Art of Hollandaise menu, there’s the Benny Goodman with lox style salmon and cream cheese served over toasted rye and topped with poached cage free eggs, cream cheese hollandaise blended with sun-dried tomato and caper relish. Or, you might like to try the Bella! Bella! Benny with thin slices of prosciutto, Taleggio cheese and perfectly poached eggs on toasted ciabatta, topped with cream cheese hollandaise, balsamic glaze and arugula. Of course, you’re going to want something to drink with your breakfast. You can order coffee and tea or you could go for one step further and order a latte, cappuccino or espresso. Of, you can go about two steps further and order the AM Manhattan with Cryus Noble Bourbon, Espresso, Carolan’s Irish Cream, Steamed Milk & Cherry or the Dirty Drunken Chai with Bhakti Chai, Espresso, Steamed Milk, Coffee Liqueur & Cruzan Rum. Now, that’s the way to start your day!
