Can’t wait for this new restaurant in Lakeway to open! They took over the Hill Country Pasta restaurant and will be opening soon (like any day)! I stopped by to see if they are closer to opening on my way to my new listing in Apache Shores and its going to be soon!! From the write ups it sounds delicious and I’m looking forward to trying it out.

Located next to Lake Travis, 827 Ray’s Kitchen + Cellar will welcome guests with delicious creations from the kitchen in a relaxed, elegant environment. There will be a seasonal menu of responsibly raised meats and farm-fresh vegetables cooked in such a way to make the ingredients stand out. On their appetizer and snack menu, you will see a Meat and Cheese Board – an assortment of cheeses, cured meats, marinated olives, house mustard, aioli and French bread. You can also try the Shrimp Bisque made with dry sherry, crème craiche and snipped chives. On the entrée menu will be Grains of Paradise Grilled Ahi Tuna – 5oz grains of paradise crusted Ahi Tuna, fresh local greens, radicchio, shaved apple, green beans, nicoise olives, grape tomatoes, red onions, lemon herb quinoa and grainy mustard honey vinaigrette.
Also available on the menu is White Wine Braised Pork Oso Bucco served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, broccolini and natural jus. There will also be Grilled Steak choices and selections from the Oyster Bar available.
