For more than 2 decades The Little Longhorn Saloon (also known as Ginny’s Little Longhorn Saloon) served as the center for another Austin Weirdism. Ginny’s is a friendly, small, rustic Austin beer joint for great classic Texas music in Central Austin. Places like this are disappearing quickly in our city but Ginny’s for the time being is still going strong and draws 1,000’s of Little Longhorn fans from all over the world! Plenty of bands like Dale Watson, Two Hoots and a Holler or Redd Volkeart could be playing. Don’t miss Thursday nights…they are reserved to hear musicians like Alvin Crow, Carl Hutchens and Glen Collins.
You will find Happy Hour for a cold beer six days a week and Sunday you won’t want to miss Chicken Shit Bingo……. Welcome to Austin!!
All ages are welcome at Ginny’s especially on Sunday..a valid I.D. is required to purchase alcohol and you must be 21+ to drink. There are plenty of sodas and other non-alcoholic beverages available.
Another Austin “Weirdism” was born decades ago. Austin is still holding on to some of its past and Ginny’s Little Long Horn Saloon is one of them!
