Who doesn’t love a great burger and ice cold beer when you’re getting ready to cheer on your favorite team? There’s a new sports bar in town getting rave reviews in downtown Austin in the Warehouse District. They’re ready for you to drop in and check them out. After a day of fun in the sun this week-end, swing in and cool off!

BaseCamp has recently opened its doors and is ready for business! It’s an upscale sports bar that has 13 TVs showing all the games, great food and a full bar that includes Texas beers and specialty cocktails. It’s very spacious and has a wonderful mural of our 360 bridge, the capital and, of course, Willie Nelson.
They have a varied menu that allows you to make it as fancy or casual as you want. There’s the BaseCamp Burger made with house ground prime chuck, brisket & short ribs with white cheddar served on a poppy seed roll. Try the Asian Ribs – smoked St. Louis ribs with sweet chili & green onion or the Steak Frites – a schezwan pepper dusted hanger steak with habanero bordelaise and house fries. You could also try the Rock Shrimp Jalapeno Hushpuppies served with Cajun remoulade or the rich and flavorful Mac ‘n Cheese made with 3 types of cheese. For dessert, try the “Not Your Father’s Root Beer Float” or the “Poteet Farms Strawberry Beignets.” With the accessibility of a sports bar and the quality of a fine dining restaurant, BaseCamp is a great addition to the Warehouse District downtown!
