It's my party and I get to select my guests!

Social media is so pervasive we forget it’s optional! Are you getting way too many tweets and pings from those you could care less about hearing from? Are you tired of rants on politics or just about anything? Are you tired of curt responses and negativity on just about everything? Why are you letting these pundits bother you?? You might want to remember you don’t have to participate!

I hear lots of grumbling about receiving too many email notifications or tweets from persons or companies you don’t want to deal with…you have a choice! You can eject someone if they are not being a good guest ar your party. It is your party and you have the right to select your guests!

You can use the mute function on your Facebook or Twitter account if you aren’t brave enough to defriend. Then they don’t know you have tuned them out. If you don’t care then defriend or try hitting the delet button if there is too much chatter for you to absorb. You have a choice! Remember “It’s My Party!”
