Sagra is a casual yet elegant Italian enoteca ~ or wine cellar ~ and trattoria. Old world classics along with subtle and sophisticated contemporary Italian fare are created by executive chef and owner Gabriel Pellegrini. From the moment you enter you’ll love the soothing décor, the relaxing atmosphere and, of course, the glow of the wood-burning oven.
Their menu is inspired by the bistro-style meals served at Italy’s many railway stations. The highest priority is given to using the freshest ingredients available to create a delicious and memorable meal. Thin crust dough, pasta and mozzarella is made on a daily basis to give you a delicious pizza cooked to Neapolitan perfection on a flat stone in their authentic Italian oven.
The menu also has twists on Italian specialties like their Pasta Cabonara that’s made with house cured pancetta and fresh broccoli topped with a parmesan sauce and egg. Other tasty items on the menu are Wild Boar Bolognese with beef, wild boar, pork and lamb ragu, tomato sauce, and egg over red wine rigatoni. How about some Risotto Pescatore with slow cooked Italian style rice, saffron, spinach, tomato, garlic, shrimp and mussels. Steak Tagliata Marsala – sliced flat iron steak, arugula, chick peas and gorgonzola in a mushroom marsala sauce over your favorite pasta might also tempt your taste buds.
At the center of Italian tradition is a fervor and respect for food that brings friends and family together.
