What a glorious week-end! Our weather was warm and sunny unlike other parts of the country :(. I showed property, made it to the gym, date night with Geno, had an outstanding open house which is now under contract and listed a wonderful home coming on the first of March! It’s Monday morning and daughter Melissa’s Birthday is today (check out Facebook to see her when she was little)! Grab a cup of your favorite brew and enjoy some tech support humor to help start your day:
(A customer comes in to return a wireless mouse that apparently doesn’t work. The techs always check them in their own computer before returning them, because the customers are usually doing something wrong.)
Customer: “This mouse doesn’t work.”
Tech: “Okay, what’s it doing?”
Customer: “Nothing.”
Teh: “Okay, and you had the batteries in right?”
Customer: “YES!”
Tech: “And you had it turned on?”
Customer: “YES! I’M NOT AN IDIOT!”
Tech: “I wasn’t calling you an idiot. A lot of people don’t realize you can turn them on or off. ”
(The tech checks the batteries, turns it on and plugs it in. It works.)
Tech: “Hmm, the mouse is working fine. Are you sure you had it turned on?”
Customer: “YES! And I had the little thing in the mouse where it’s supposed to go!”
Tech: “What little thing?”
Customer: “That little thing that sticks in the bottom of the mouse!”
(The tech takes the USB receiver out of the computer and holds it up.)
Tech: “This?”
Customer: “YES!”
Tech: “You kept it in the mouse?”
Customer: “YES!”
Tech: “That’s supposed to go in the computer…”
