Making a difference~An introduction to Active Rain

I want everyone to meet my daughter Melissa Stout. She is the mother of 3 of my wonderful grandchildren! She and husband Russell are exceptional parents, nurturing each child to their fullest potential.

Melissa grew up in Austin and is still close to many of her high school friends even after graduating from UT, getting married and residing here in Austin. Just last year she and 4 other of her dearest HS friends took a girls road trip to Tahos, New Mexico. 2 months after their return one of the gals found she has breast cancer.

I’m in awe at how the girls rally around Pam. Their moral support is overwhelming as they show their love by coming to each chemotherapy session, hold her hand as her gorgeous hair is first cut, making it a fun experience wig shopping and just generally being with her through the ups and down. Cakes, signs, yard art all helping her celebrating kicking cancer’s ass!

Melissa makes a difference for all those around her and you’ll be hearing more about her! In the first quarter I’ll be having some exciting news to share..so stay tuned, I can’t wait!!
