What a glorious week-end! The weather was perfect (sunny, clear blue skies and 60’s) as I delivered my poinsettias to clients I worked with this year..I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work with them. Running in the Love for Lights 5K with friends, colleagues and family (Miss Beckett and Handsome Hudson rode most of the way in a 2 man stroller) was so much fun!! Our Christmas tree lighting event in Canyon Creek Saturday was a huge success! I managed to write an offer for some buyers and came to terms. Tree is up, mantel is decorated and Christmas trash cooked..life is good! Now it’s Monday morning so grab a cup of your favorite brew and join me for some tech support humor to help start your day:
A woman works for a computer retailer. A customer brings in a system she bought about an hour before.)
Customer: “Yeah. I want to return this computer. The CD-drive isn’t working.”
Sales lady: “Not working? How so, sir?”
Customer: “Discs don’t fit inside it.”
She hooks up the machine to a monitor setup they have, opens the disc tray, and it reads the CD she put in just fine.)
Customer: “Wait, the computer looks different now!”
Sales lady: “Different? Sir, this is an Apple. They look pretty much the same all the time.”
Customer: “No. The symbol on the side there! It’s upside down.”
Sales lady: “It’s an Apple, a leaf and an apple with a bite out of it.”
Customer: *embarrassed* “I… put it on the floor upside down, didn’t I?”
