We all know that flour is a staple and primary ingredient in homemade pastas, flat bread and desserts. When you combine those meals with exceptional wine, you are in for a dining experience you are sure to remember.
This restaurant has definitely created a welcoming environment to greet you as you arrive. Flour and Vine is located in what is called the Arts Corridor of South Lamar and they’ve created a place where diners can enjoy each other’s company over delicious food and wine. A sample of what you’ll find on the menu: for starters from the small plates menu try the Fried Avocado stuffed with shrimp, shallots, garlic and jalapeno served over peppered bacon sauce. Your entrée might be the Pan Seared Snapper with grilled baby bok choy, mushroom risotto cake, heirloom tomato in a creamy sriracha sauce or the Pork Tenderloin, seared and topped with mango chutney, brussel sprouts and mashed sweet potatoes. Finish the evening with the Lemon Chiffon Cheesecake topped with lemon mousse.
Flour and Vine tries very hard to create a memorable experience for their diners in a rustic, yet modern restaurant and they have succeeded.
