In the September 25th issue of Money Magazine Austin, TX was named #1 city for millennials to live! With a 26.2% millennial population this comes as no surprise. The job growth through 2019 is expected to be 13.3% and with the reputation of being the “live music capital” millennials find plenty of fun things to do in Austin! Thanks to all of the diversified Major Employers jobs are plentiful. Combined with an easy living atmosphere how can millennials go wrong with a move to Austin?
Money focused on cities with good job growth projection, relatively affordable cost of living, amenities and ranked by their population of 20-34 year olds. Results were limited to cities with a population of 300,000 and higher and one city per state.
